
Robert
L. Berk, M.D.
Dr. Berk graduated from Muhlenberg College (Allentown,
PA) and Hahnemann University (Philadelphia, PA). He did
his post graduate training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore
(Baltimore, MD) and Lehigh Valley Hospital Center (Allentown,
PA).
Dr. Berk has been with the Center for Women’s Health
since 2002. He was formerly a partner with Podrasky & Berk
Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. Dr. Berk is an attending
physician on the staff at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne,
PA and Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. Dr. Berk enjoys
the team spirit and enthusiastic staff at CWH. He lives
in Bucks County with his wife and two daughters and likes
to ski and bike in his free time. He participates in the
annual bike race to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
Advice to women: “You wear many different hats – daughter,
wife, mother, co-worker - schedule time ‘just for
yourself’ on a regular basis.”
Neil
D. Bluebond, D.O.
Dr. Bluebond graduated from Dickinson College (Carlisle,
PA), Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), and College
of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (Des Moines, Iowa).
He did his post graduate training at Metropolitan Hospital,
Parkview Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital,
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania
Hospital (all located in Philadelphia, PA).
“Offering clients quality patient care through working
together as a group” is what brought Dr. Bluebond
to the Center for Women’s Health when it was started
in 1995.He is an attending physician at Lower Bucks Hospital
in Bristol, PA and at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne,
PA. He has been married for 20 years and has two daughters
and an adorable grandson.
Advice to women: “Beware of the male gender.”
Dr. Ruppersberger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (both
located in Philadelphia, PA). He did his post graduate
training at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital (Allentown,
PA) and Parkview Hospital (Philadelphia, PA).
“Working at the Center for Women’s Health
provides me with the tools necessary to focus on holistic
medicine of mind, body and spirit,” is how Dr. Ruppersberger
describes his job. He has been with the Center since its
formation in 1995. He is an attending physician at Lower
Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA and at Saint Mary Medical
Center in Langhorne, PA. Dr. Ruppersberger is also a family
life medical advisor and a certified instructor of natural
family planning at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He
has been married to his wife, Betty, for 38 years, has two sons
and six grandchildren. He enjoys golf, music, dining out,
and the beach.
Advice for women: Be not afraid. Be the fullest and best
person you can be in mind, body, and spirit as you were
intended at creation. Balance in all things.
Philosophy: We are all here
for a reason. Our goal is eternal glory and our lives are
gifts along with health, family, and friends. There is no
such thing as a coincidence.
With the Center for Women's Health since 1994, Dr. Harvey has been named by Philadelphia Magazine as Top Doc in the Greater Philadelphia area for 2004 and 2005. She enjoys working with the dedicated Center physicians and staff, whom she calls her friends and family. Her hospital affiliations are with Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA and with Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, PA. Dr. Harvey enjoys vacationing in North Carolina, relaxing with her four adorable cats, working out at the gym, and devoting her spare time to the Medical Mission to the Dominican Republic. She is also a Reiki Mater practitioner, an avid knitter, and an amateur pianist.
Advice to women: Be good to yourself, dream big, believe in yourself, and learn to delegate!
Stephanie
Schwartz, M.D.
Dr. Schwartz graduated from State University of New York
(Binghamton, NY) and State University of New York Health
Science Center (Syracuse, NY). She did her post graduate
training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland (Cleveland,
OH).
Dr. Schwartz has been with the Center for Women’s
Health since 2000.
She was formerly with Bucks County OB/GYN in Levittown, PA. She
likes knowing that if she is not in the office, her patients
will be taken care of by the other physicians, who, she feels,
are all of a similar mind set. Dr. Schwartz is an attending physician
at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA and Lower Bucks Hospital,
Bristol, PA. She lives in Bucks County with her husband and three
children.
Advice to women: Don’t sweat the small stuff – life
is too short. You never know what is going to happen.
Philosophy: Women need to respect
themselves and their bodies. If they respect themselves,
they will take care of themselves.
Lisa
Diasio, MSN, CRNP
Lisa graduated from Pennsylvania State University (University
Park, PA) and received a Master of Science degree in nursing
(nurse practitioner program) from the University of Pennsylvania
(Philadelphia, PA). She is a certified registered nurse
practitioner (women's health and inpatient obstetric nursing.)
Lisa appreciates that the Center for Women's Health treats
women holistically - caring for their physical, emotional,
and spiritual well-being. She lives in Bensalem with her
husband and two sons.
Advice to women: Always protect yourself.
Philosophy: It's never too late to begin a healthy lifestyle.
Karen
Nyirjesy, MSN, CRNP
Karen graduated from Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia,
PA) and received a Master of Science degree in nursing
(women's health care) from the University of Pennsylvania
(Philadelphia, PA).
Karen is a certified registered nurse
practitioner. She loves her co-workers - she finds everyone easy to
work with and professional. She is proud of the fact that
the Center for Women's Health offers so many services in
one place. She lives in Abington with her husband and has
two teenaged girls. Tennis, scrapbooking, and skiing are
her hobbies.
Advice to women: Life can be difficult at times so, each
day, we must make a conscious decision to have compassion
for ourselves and to show compassion for others.
Philosophy: To be truly healthy, we must care for mind,
body, and soul. We should spend time each day, even if
just for a few minutes, to purposefully care for ourselves
in each of these areas.
Kathie Olson, RN, BSN, CCCN)
Kathie has been a certified continence nurse for 20 years. She has worked with the issue of incontinence in the following settings: urology office, gerontology, home care, long term care. She has lectured at national meetings and has been published in nursing journals. Kathie continues to provide consultation to office practices setting up incontinence programs.
Kathie enjoys helping women with incontinence issues. She thinks of herself as a "bladder detective". She feels fortunate to work in an environment where there is so much support for her area of expertise and where there are so many treatment options.
Kathie is happily married with four children who range in age from 9 to 21.
The family has a dog, a fish, and two turtles. Kathie is a Girl Scout leader, a quilter, and loves to play tennis and read when she has a free moment.
Philosophy: Don't "just live with it".
Eileen
Bartleson (Laser Hair Removal)
Eileen considers being happily married for 24 years and
raising two beautiful children to be one of her greatest
personal achievements.
It is no wonder that Eileen enjoys
the family oriented ambiance of the Center for Women's
Health. When she is not spending time with her family,
Eileen enjoys reading.
Lisa Kevitch Licensed Medical Esthetician
Lisa is a graduate from the University of Michigan. She is a licensed medical esthetician who has advanced experience in corrective skin care of the face specializing in acne, anti aging, environmentally damaged, and mature skin.
Lisa is excited to run our skin care department at the Center for Women’s Health. She is confident that taking care of your skin affects how you feel in the inside as well.
Lisa lives in Blue Bell, Pa. with her three children. She makes health and fitness a priority in her life through kickboxing, biking, weight training, running and hiking.
Advice to Women: Do not try to remake yourself into something you are not. Just try making the best of whom you are!!!

Mary Woltjen, CNM, CRNP, MSN
Mary graduated from Planned Parenthood Association Nurse Practitioner Program and the Institute of Midwifery at Philadelphia University ( both in Philadelphia), where she received her Master of Science in Midwifery. She is a Registered Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Mary has been published in the Journal of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Mary lives in Warrington, PA, with her husband of 35 years. She has four grown children and six beautiful grandchildren. Mary enjoys reading whenever she has the chance as well as “do-it-yourself” home improvement projects.
Sue Ritorto, CRNP, MSN
Susan graduated from College of New Jersey, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Susan also attended University of Pennsylvania where she received her Master of Science in Nursing as well as a Certified Nurse Practitioner degree.
Susan has worked in the women’s health field for more than 20 years, beginning her career in 1996 as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and moved on to Perinatology ( high risk perinatal care) in Maternal Fetal Medicine, where she observed many procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS and fetal blood transfusions.
Susan’s favorite things for relaxation are watching television, spending time with friends and family. But at the top of her list of favorites is spending time with her teenage twins and going to the beach with a good book.
Maureen Murphy
Maureen graduated from Gwynedd Mercy College and received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing (Certified Nurse Midwifery Program) from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. She is a certified nurse midwife with extensive experience serving underprivileged women in Philadelphia.
Maureen loves working in such a friendly and professional environment where so many services are available to women. She lives in Glenside, PA with her husband of 28 years. She has 3 grown children and welcomed 2 grandchildren this past year.
Advice to women: Take the time to care for your inner self. Women fill many roles in our society today and rarely take the time for themselves.
Philosophy: Knowledge is Power. I love to educate women regarding health care issues - enabling them to make informed choices for their lives.
Monica
Pyle, Administrator
Monica came to the Center for Women’s
Health after many years as an administrator of a law
firm specializing in medical issues. She is a certified
mediator and volunteers her services to the local municipal
courts.
Monica is quick to share her enthusiasm
for her workplace. “The best thing about being
part of CWH is the opportunity to work closely with a
great group of physicians – I love my job.” Monica
resides in New Jersey with her husband and son. She recently
embarked on a health/exercise/wellness journey with the
goal of becoming more physically fit.
