When you are pregnant, eating well is one of the best things you can do for your growing baby. Healthy foods provide nutrients for your baby’s bones, heart, brain, and more. Eating well can also help keep your weight in check during your pregnancy, lowering your risk of health conditions that could affect you and your baby. And, maintaining a healthy weight throughout pregnancy will help you in your recovery post-partum. Prenatal nutrition classes are offered the third Tuesday of each month at the Center for Women’s Health.
